About MA in Communication

The Master of Arts in Communication collection contains unpublished Master's theses and inquiry projects completed by students in the James L. Knight School of Communication at Queens University of Charlotte.

The documents are provided here to archive the excellent graduate student work in our program. Generally, inquiry projects take the form of a master's thesis or comprehensive research leading to a final project such as a strategic communication plan, organizational case study, documentary, or book project.

Notes for General Use of this Archive

This archive is provided for the faculty, alumni, and students in the MA in Communication program to use as a resource. Interested researchers are also invited to explore archive contents. Please note that all use of ideas and concepts in these projects should be fairly attributed to the original authors. The student work represented here belongs to the students who authored it. With the support of our faculty, some of these projects have been turned into successful publications in a variety of outlets.

Notes for Current Student Use of this Archive

As the program evolves, so do the expectations surrounding style and format of capstone inquiry projects. Therefore, students visiting this site to seek examples of successful work are encouraged to seek out more recent projects as style guides.
